Our Verdict
Super-effective registry cleaning and defragging (plus mild system tweaking) is Wise Registry Cleaner 7's forte.
Every once in a while, I pass over crossways a program that seems too good to be free–but truly is. Wise Registry Cleaner 7 (WRC 7 from here on in) is such a program. Really, it's a trifle more than a registry cleaner. It also defrags the registry and offers quite a a a couple of system tweaks under its System Tuneup tab.
Equally a register cleaner, WRC 7 has performed wellspring for me. It always seems to regain much stuff than CCleaner, another effective freebie that also removes early types of file detritus. The program checks ActiveX/Com components, software paths, application paths, shared DLLS, the Showtime Menu, etc. and removes any invalid entries.
As with CCleaner, WRC 7 testament do away with some binge you might want, including the just about recently used file lists (MRUs) for Microsoft Office and other applications. It pays to drop a bit of time going through the list and First State-selecting any items you'd like to continue. Also, thither's a Safe Selections alternative if you precise-click over any category heading. I suggest you use IT until you're adequate to speed.
WRC 7's registry defragger takes o'er your system for 30 seconds to a moment when information technology scans and runs to keep other programs from making changes. It's a bit disconcerting the maiden time, just a dainty precaution. It deeds quite well, though you may not posting a difference in boot multiplication unless you've been running your Windows installation for quite patc.
System of rules Tuneup options include optimizing magnetic disc I/O, disabling the debugger, few networking tweaks and some other stuff. They'rhenium cushy to try and if you don't like them, you can chink on arrangement defaults to restore the Microsoft manufactory settings.
If in that location's anything I don't love about the Wise Registry Cleanser 7, it's that the user interface, which while winning plenty, doesn't allow resizing to let you see the entirety of or s of the items listed. When you hover over each token, the full detail displays as a tooltip, but still.
Minor gripes aside, Wise Registry Cleaner 7 has worked perfectly for me. It's a lasting token in my toolkit. You should download it.
